Visibility alone isn’t reducing cloud risk
I hope the year is off to a steady start.
A short February note from us. As planning shifts into execution, we’ve been spending time inside customer environments sense-checking where attention is actually landing.
Across several environments recently, we’re seeing a familiar pattern. Organisations have strong visibility, they have dashboards, they have scanning tools. But risk isn’t reducing. The gap isn’t usually detection; it’s prioritisation, ownership and follow-through.
I’ve written up our thinking here: https://perituscloudsecurity.com/insights/visibility-is-not-security
If this resonates, I’d be genuinely interested to hear how you’re approaching it internally.

We’re excited to have welcomed Paul to the Peritus team this month.
As we continue to grow, bringing in the right people matters more to us than growing quickly. Paul joins us to help expand the conversations we’re having with security leaders and to ensure we’re giving proper time and attention to the organisations we work with.
He’ll be supporting us behind the scenes as we continue refining how we help organisations prioritise and reduce real security risk.
